Lost Newtowne Neck Road (Rt. 243) area, before Breton Bay turn off. He's old can't hardly hear, can't hardly see, and can only walk real well when he decides there is something that smells more interesting than following mom into the house!

Please call 301-904-0653 if you have seen him.

He's very friendly, answers to Day and gets along with other dogs.

Thank you!

I was just looking on Second Hope Rescue in Leonardtown and there is a picture of Day, it even has his name posted under it. This may have been an older picture but I just wanted to be sure its not your dog, or you adopted him from Second Hope and they haven't updated the system.

That's him, I am his foster/forever mom (since finding adopters for seniors is almost impossible...).

He has been found, he's at All Kinds Hospital, he was hit by a car last night. I am waiting on the x-rays to see what injuries he might have.

If the person that turned around to pick him up reads this - thank you.

OH NO. That breaks my heart. I'm sorry he got hit, but I'm glad someone had the heart to turn around and not leave him there to die alone.

I hope he's ok. :huggy:

Talked to All Kinds and he has no broken bones anywhere, but there is air under his skin on the side he was hit, so I have to keep my eyes on him the next couple of days to ensure he has no trouble breathing, if that happens, he has to go to the vet ASAP...

So I need a babysitter for Friday since I have to work and then on Saturday since I have to go to Frederick for a couple of adoptions...

Thank you for all you well wishes. I'm so thankful it wasn't worse and you can bet there is going to be better fencing in place!

I hate that road, no shoulders and people drive like bats outta.....

There's been a couple of days that I was worried about Day... But he has finally started acting like his old fool self and even with a leash on he starts walking down the hill toward the road... I remind him, that's NOT where he is allowed to go!

thanks for all the well wishes.. NOW if he could just be adopted into a home with a love for seniors! (he really really loves to sleep with his person...)
