NOT Politically Correct!!
Recommend cruising into the trailer park on Hermanville Road, some may have taken them in or decided they love free dogs. Not trying to be funny on this one, however it happens... :coffee:

There has been a dog wandering around my neighborhood for about 2 weeks now, but looks nothing like your dog. I think that its a highland terrior. The first time I seen him he was antagonizing my dogs on the other side of the fence and peeing on everything since he wans't neutered, so I called the dog catcher since it didn't have a collar. Dog catcher either didn't show up or didn't catch him. So the dog come back around today and this time I notice he has a collar on. I call both numbers on the tags and leave messages to the owners. No one has called me back yet. Maybe they don't care for their animals, but I can tell that you care for yours. I hope that you find them.

Great idea, is the number for 98.3 in the phone book? Who do I call?

Are they tagged? Make sure that you call the Humane Society in Hughesville. Good luck!

I'm afraid to even drive by there, much less through there.

Dog report?

Nothing yet. We have had a few people say they saw them in the South Hampton area off 235. Been through there 3 times with no luck.

The guy amethyst babes talked to yesterday said he only saw Pandora... she's more skittish, so I wonder if someone else took Orion in and she wouldn't go.

Hey, you guys really should consider posting a "lost" ad in the SOMD.COM classifieds.

Already did that. Thanks.
I looked for it under "pets & animals" "lost & found" and don't see it...

Edited... I found it under "misc merchandise" "Lost & found"...:yay:

a_b did... I don't know how much time it takes to post. ???

Anyways, I just got a concerned PM. It's sort of sad how many hit dogs you hear about when you start canvassing like this.

Just in case anyone else dreads to "report the worst too us", we have 3 known negatives of hit dog reports. None of these hit dogs were ours:

- A black-and-brown furry dog on the side of the road on 235 down by spring ridge middle school
- A black-and-tan mastiff or pincer type dog at the intersection of 235 and Hermanville across from the gas station.
- A black dog on the side of the road near gate 3 on the way to Cedar Cove. (This dog was with another dog who was taken in by the animal welfare league.)

Unfortunately not.

We're going to continue to make trips up to the animal shelter, but I don't know what else we can do.

My daughter's heart is broken :(

I just wish my daughter would stop crying :(

Oh, I'm so sorry they aren't home yet. I was hoping for good news. Please tell your daughter that many are on the lookout for them. :huggy: My kids would be distraught as well.
