Check the animal shelter. Also when we have lost dogs before they wandered to someone's house and the people just figured they'd keep them there so make sure you are asking around, not just looking. Our one dog just wandered into the people's house and started eating popcorn in front of the tv withthe family's kids lol.

Sometimes it's best to actually physically go down there. When I was in college, I had my black lab picked up when he was like 3 or 4 months because thats when he was in his digging stage and managed to dig under the fence. He ran straight to the high school up the road and they called to have him picked up. I called the shelter and desribed him as a black lab with a white spot on his chest. They tell me he's not there. Call back a few hours later, the same thing. Finally I go up there and see him sitting in on of the runs. Apparently the dumb girl couldnt distinguish between a lab and what in her mind a pit looked like and he had been up there the entire time. If I had not gone up there, I could have lost my dog because of someones stupidity. Just some friendly advice, I hope you find your pup! :huggy:

Well I went to Tri-County animal shelter today and no luck. They said they had not seen her and I wallked through and looked at the dogs they had and still no luck. They did give me a list of numbers that they told me to call so hopefully I will have some luck with that.

sorry for your loss we lost our lab for about 5 months in cre one i called animal control every day and police every night before bed i almost gave up when one night i heard him crying you know that cry of im lost or want something not a hurt cry. it made me not give up. about 3 weeks later we were driveing comming from one of the beaches here in cre and what did i see some lady walking my lab. we all stoped our cars and it was him. because the people had put over 400.00 in to him with vet bills they thought they were going to keep him but we had a chip. it saved him and brought him back home but not with out police and the people hideing him for a few days.we did get him back. now we have a big solid fence. he will not get out again but the CHIP did its job.also if a dog or cat goes to a vet and they are told that the dog or cat was found it the law federal law that they check for the chip good luck and dont give up
