Funny story... I told my Sistard to get the cheap aluminum pan with the handles for the Thanksgiving turkey one year. She replied, why not just put the pan on a large cookie sheet. Me... :dur: 😂
I like the cheapos for picking crabs in. Use/wash them a few times before they get relegated to grill use. Some things are just too much for a hand washing, so they get tossed and replenished.

I would use it first for mixing my home made stuffing. Then roast the turkey.

they denied the royal farms and allowed 20 dollar generals, thank you BOCC lords. Soon nobody in the county will need to drive over 4 minutes to reach their local dollar general

I have never been in one of the $ stores.
What the hell is in them, to create such a big boom?
As I've said before, the question to ask isn't "what do they sell" but why are they proliferating in one of the (somewhat self) proclaimed "wealthiest and best educated regions of the US".

Obviously corporate must see a market from somebody.

That would likely be the folks in the area, who do not fit those descriptors.
Then again, some folks with money ARE stingy about spending it.

Why is simple. Do you really want to roll all the way to Walmart or Target or even the grocery store for one or two things when DG is closer, and faster in and out with a lot of those quickly needed items without paying crazy convenience store prices? Of course you don't.

I need a bag of chips, maybe some melatonin or band-aids, who knows, maybe a can of Campbells soup, some peanut butter, whatever. Its there, I'm in and out in three minutes. Interesting history behind the whole chain. People confuse it with the one filled with nothing but Chinses crap, but its really a whole different game.

It’s true, Walmart is actually a ~30 min hike from where I live and city folk would consider it outrageous. Operating between counties can equate to hours and many of us think of it as normal and these areas as relatively close. Now I’m getting older and don’t have an appetite to travel when a dollar general is 5 minutes away
