Luau Items......thoughts........ideas

I am having a "LUAU" theme party for my daughter's 8th birthday on Sunday, the 25th. I have ordered some items online and still am in need of various items. It's too late to order online without paying an OUTRAGEOUS shipping rate. SO............Does anyone know anywhere in the SOuthern Maryland area I can get GREAT CUTE Luau items? I live in LaPlata and am willing to drive, just not too far, cause we all know gas is CRAZY.

Any ideas, thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated.

Most dollar stores have tons of luau/Hawaiian-themed stuff. I was in Target last night and they had a bunch of items like that.

What are you looking for exactly? There's a party store in St. Mary's Square and you can always check the local $1 stores.

I was asking for Luau thoughts, ideas, not about the font/size of a posting. I guess the person was ASSUMING that I changed that and I didn't. Came off rude.

Why do you need a "Theme" for an 8 year old's party?, Cake and ice cream to get them wired on sugar, then give them all squirt guns (cleans off the cake and ice cream) and turn them loose in the yard.

What is the name of the party store in St Marys?

I did check the Card Factory in Waldorf, they were VERY pricey. I couldnt see paying $6.99 for 8 cups.

I do themes, because I allow my children to ENJOY themselves in what they want to do. I have been planning parties/events for for over 10 years and enjoy it.

Big Lots. I was in there 2-3 weeks ago and I saw they had a bunch of Hawaiian-themed items, including palm trees and pink flamingo's. They have good prices, too.

orientaltrading.com is great they ship in a day, sometimes free. Or try the party store in the Lexington Park Square, they use to have alot!

I got a lot of my stuff from oriental trading. and as I was pulling it all out of the boxes and sorting, that' when I realized I was missing some stuff. If I order today it won't be here unless I do express shipping which is in excess of over $25
