Man Charged With Raping Baby Son

GEORGETOWN - A Georgetown man is behind bars, charged with raping his 15-month-old baby son.

The Georgetown police said Theodore Marvin Morris, 22, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 16, after his girlfriend allegedly discovered a videocassette that Morris produced, in which he allegedly appears to be having sex intercourse with his baby son. She discovered the videotape inside their motel room at the Best Value Inn in Georgetown and called the police when she realized what was depicted.

Morris and his girlfriend had been staying at the Best Value Inn for eight months and also said that Morris told them the tape was made a month ago.

The police say that none of the officers in the unit could watch the tape in its entirety before having to walk away due to the tape's graphic contents.

I think we touched on this sometime in the last 10 days - yeah - the Scott Peterson case; Should he get the death penalty?

Someone broached the idea that we ought to revive public hangings, firing squad executions, and yes, Public Stoning might not be "too out there" either.

The really sad part of this whole episode is that he's probably not the only one to have done such a cowardly act as that yesterday; he's probably only one of the unlucky ones that got caught.

The name of the game is deterence!

If you pull a sad, demented act on an infant, or anyone who cannot defend themselves, having no recourse to flee the scene, well you deserve to receive the ultimate penalty.

Like I said: Deterence. You should know what to expect will happen to you, if you're guilty.

That is SO true.

Even if he suffers from a sickness, I can't see any way of showing mercy for him. Yes, I consider myself a Christian, but this is something too horrid to accept.

A 15 month old infant boy! Folks, that in no way could be considered a sex object. Impossible.

I lean towards the notion he had some ill feelings for that baby boy, and he took it out on him, for whatever reason.

Some sins are unforgiveable.

How to put this delicately? You would think there would have been some physical injury to the child. If the guy made the tape a month ago, didn't anyone notice afterward that the kid was hurt? There's no way in hell an adult man can rape a toddler, especially a boy, without there being some very serious evidence of it that anyone changing his diaper would have noticed.

I can completely understand your feelings, but... perhaps she wanted to be able to take care of her children herself and see some sort of justice served, rather than be put in jail herself and the kids into foster care and not get the help they deserve.

Good point RR. I hope he get triple what he did to the child. I have to admit at least the mother isn't one of those mothers that never report things like this because they are either "in denial" or "but I love my husband/boyfriend so much...we can work things out." That pee's me off almost as much as the person committing this crime. I hope justice is served.
