Thanks, both to Jazz and MM for the neat wx pics; the Fox News reported that too, they think it's going too, in an arc way to the west of us.

BUT, given the weather forecasters' accuracy lately, well I ain't gonna go there!

I just heard on the news where a guy lured his mother over to "ride out the storm with him" ......he then started the car in the garage, they both died of carbon monoxide poisoning....a suicide note was found.

Whew JH, I've heard the story about "arriving with only fumes to spare", but that is depressing. To the rest of the family, if there's anyone left.
It's really sad that someone would take that opportunity to leave this world in that manner.
Must have been some major psychological problems there, to lure you mother with you, into that final act.
Maybe it's a dumb thought, but there might have been some health/medical problems he, and/or she were dealing with?
