Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

There are plenty of things that I could post about the Catholic church so let's beyond this.

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

I think you are gloating at people's marriage troubles instead of honoring marriage and trying to do what you can to keep people together. I actually have sympathy for those who have this struggle because different people have different hormone levels and some people are living in a sexless marriage as a result.

So basically, the christian views are "heh, what responsibility for my actions? I screw it up, say that my invisible deity has forgiven me, so all good. Next.." Is that how I read the religious view on doing wrong?

Cheezegritz,

A lot of people go into Christian counselling for these issues and I've heard only a little on the radio program New Life Live and the result of their actions is sometimes tremendous damage. A lot of people suffer from these actions and it ruins relationships and it ruins trust. I look at King David in the Bible and there is a lack of David being able to discipline his sons because he is guilty of some of those things and people believe a lie about the truth. The truth is that infidelity is sometimes the end of relationships and families.

There are people I know of who have gotten aids, hepatitus and herpes for their actions and they have it for the rest of their lives.

It costs Jesus because Jesus paid for your sins while on the cross in a way that is unimaginable.
I can guarantee you their spouse cried and cried.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

The real question is how many people will punish him and her for his actions? How many will humiliate her for what her spouse did? How many times should someone have to pay for their sin is the question.
Instead of posting it, why wouldn't a Catholic be praying the Lord's prayer asking God to forgive their trespasses as they forgive others?
At what point is this discussion gossip? The information was stolen from a website so it is trespassing and gossip to talk about it.

King James Bible
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
http://biblehub.com/mark/10-9.htm

The words of Jesus is about keeping this marriage together and the fact that they were held up to ridicule is an attempt to attack them which could put asunder their marriage.
When human lives have to be attacked so that people can thumb their noses at others, it is basically disgusting.
And remember that we're all not without sin.

This is probably why there are so many Christians in the prisons.

Right. onel incessantly posts anti-protestant OPs. He's just a another catholic dick, and an unimaginative one at that. But I'm sure you'll continue your passive aggressive references to him because you consider it less offensive....but might as well just be honest and refer to him as what he really is.

It's public now, so it's not "trespassing or gossip". It just points up the fact that those sanctimonious types who wish to tell other people 'how to live their lives' are often supremely f'd up themselves. That fact doesn't bode well for you and onel. :eyebrow:

What do you know, we agree on something.:yay:
