I could put any value I want on any of my stuff.
Doesn't mean anyone would, or should, hand over that much cash if they wanted it.
And if I'm trying to secure a loan against my stuff, it would be up to the bank to determine how much THEY value my stuff and how much they would loan me against it.
This all seems like such a non-issue to me.

And since Mar-a-Lago hasn't been sold since it was bought by Trump in 1985, it's Zillow value hasn't been affected much since there are no like properties in the assessment/resent sales area. The homes at the top of the picture are all similar in the size of the houses and land. Hence why they are pretty much similarly priced.

I was reading through this and something that crossed my mind is how Foreign national loans could impact property valuations, especially in spots like Palm Beach. If someone from abroad is borrowing big money to grab prime real estate, that could push prices up. I've seen that happen in some Florida neighborhoods where overseas buyers drive prices in ways locals don’t expect.
