“Jake Teixeira is white, male, Christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime,” Greene (R-Ga.) wrote in a tweet.

[clip] I would not call that statement a ' defense ' of the leaker ...

The Georgia Republican on Thursday praised Teixeira for telling “the truth” about President Biden “waging war” in Ukraine, suggesting that the Biden administration is “the real enemy.”

“And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more. Ask yourself who is the real enemy? A young low level national guardsmen? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against nuclear Russia without war powers?” Greene wrote.

I’d love to get this dumb broad’s thoughts on Julian Assange or Ed Snowden? Does she support the truth getting out without weasel words? Or is she like most of her ilk and highly transactional depending on the parenthetical letter behind someone’s name or religious affiliation of those involved?

Teixeira is in all likelihood a patsy, given secrets to leak by Mike Flynn.

Despite all the fuss - especially in the right wing press - I'm still inclined to believe this was relatively low level stuff.
Why? Well, partly because - it WAS easily accessed by a 21 year old kid. And partly because the information itself was floating around out there for MONTHS and the intel community just noticed it.

My job doesn't involve a security clearance, but it does involve private information that I'm sworn to never disclose. It might not pertain to national secrets, but there's an off chance it might involve the taxes and finances of someone's company - and even with THAT, they're pretty tight-lipped about access. They lock up and encrypt everything. Disclosures can result in firing.

The other is how long it's been out there. I don't know a lot about the intel community, but when it's really important, they can usually tell if information has gotten out. This - went completely under the radar. The only thing damning that I saw referenced was that we have about a dozen special forces there - and I suspect if we're giving them air defense systems - that might go without saying.

If it weren't for the fact that this administration lies when the truth would actually suit them better, I'd be inclined to rant about this - but alas, my gut says Biden might be right on this.

That's actually been one of the more amusing things about this circus.

So many years of Joes BS, its just reflexive. And he surrounded himself with people who give no thought to strategy.

Well, like the Mar-A-Lago raid, which he claimed he didn't know about - whichi is on the surface, mildly damning, because he should know about it.

In this case - he did. The White House was required to sanction it, and evidence has come out in the past couple days confirming that.

Wouldn't he have been much better just saying "Damn straight I knew about it - and that's a good thing, too"? He's like the robber you have on the secuirty camera saying he wasn't there.

Dear MTG. It's simple, you don't disclose classified you have access to. Purple, white, black, Methodist, Satanist, FSM, whatever.

I am more concerned with the truth of what was disclosed.
Is it true that we have troops on the ground in secret, Is it true that Ukraine is losing big time.
Is it true that we are in a de facto war with Russia in spite of our not having Congressional approval.?

And last but certainly not least, was all of this done just to make Hunter Biden, Pelosi's son, and Mitt Romney's offspring rich off their deals with Ukraine. In other words were the Biden's shady deals with Ukraine the match that set this off. And what did Obama know and how much did he profit off this.

1. Yes - and it's never been a secret - for some of our equipment sent, they HAVE to have instruction. We have about a dozen men, there.
2. Yes, Ukraine is losing, badly. Russia appears to be fighting a war of attrition, and Ukraine is running out of resources. Again, not really a secret.
3. We're in a war with Russia the same way we were in a war with them in Iraq, and when THEY were in Afghanistan. Russia has a lot of balls whining about the West helping Ukraine when they themselves run to Iran and China, for the same thing.

Ukraine isn't willing to end the war and give up Crimea - Russia is willing to make ZERO concessions short of not taking all of Ukraine, which Putin AND Medvedev - if not others - have claimed has no right to exist.

The war in Ukraine is not going AS EASILY as the Russians believed it would be, but if the Russians are willing to keep sending men into the meat grinder, they will eventually win. It's unclear to me now if the Russians of 2023 have the same kind of resolve that the Russians who faced Napoleon and Hitler, had. The willingness to take unbelievable losses, to outlast their enemy.

Ukraine should take a page from North Vietnam, who succeeded in convincing Americans that we were losing - that their greatest DEFEAT - the Tet Offensive - was a victory for North Vietnam. I am not sure what would happen - but thus far in the war, not one person on RUSSIAN soil has lost their life. I don't know the Russian psyche. If an American were lost on AMERICAN SOIL during a war, it would be like swatting a beehive - it would incense them so greatly, war support would SURGE. If something like that were to happen in some other nations - the people would clamor for it to end.

What would happen if Ukrainians succeeded in destroying whole towns INSIDE Russia? Just as THEY have experienced? Cities along the border with Ukraine have been - peaceful. How would they feel if they were no longer safe?
