Does anybody think that training in the martial arts can improve health (both mental and physical) and fitness? Do you think adults and children with improved health and fitness will be better able to build a better community? If we have better health and fitness, we have a better perception and outlook on ourselves and life in general. Or............do you think that the martial arts is mainly about hurting people (even if it is the "good" guy defeating the "bad" guy) as the movies portray on a regular basis?
