Maryland Faerie Festival

We went today. It was a lot of fun. Girl was enraptured. Her hair was braided, face painted and she got a pair of gorgeous wings. Music was good. Storytellers were a delight. Lots of little crafts and games for the kiddies and a load of vendors. Good variety of food.

Its like a mini RennFest dedicated just to faeries. Thanks again Elaine for letting us know about it. We'll be returning next year.

I was supposed to go. :bawl: My 17 year old made sure that didn't happen.

One of those "break my heart" things again.

My youngest was so dissapointed.

Did you do Posie's Tea Party? The wishing trees? Did you make a fearie house? Did you dance the maypole?

We did the wishing tree and the faerie house. Didn't do the Tea Party. She did make some crafts - pretty reasonable at $1 each.

I wanted to go, but I didn't think there was much point since I didn't have my MiniMe to go with. We are going to VARF next weekend. :yay:

I'm gonna shoot her an email and ask her about it. I'm sure she said it was coming up. But I didn't think she said Glen Rock, PA. I thought she said a different city. I'm sending an email...
