Does cerakote require heat curing ?

Yes it does. Four hours at 250 degrees is typical. The whole application process is sensitive to the details but it sure is an amazing coating system when you get it right.
Here's the last Cerakote job I did...FDE lower to go with camo upper. It's chambered in 6.5 Grendel..quite a tack driver at 500 yards.
