SALISBURY, Md. -- A Fruitland, Md., man became stuck to a toilet seat early Sunday morning at a Denny's restaurant in Salisbury, Md., when he used the restroom.

Police said someone had put glue on the seat.

Authorities said customers called 911 after the man yelled for help.

Paramedics took the man and the seat to the hospital, where it was removed.

Police are wondering if putting the glue on the seat was somebody's idea of an April Fools Day prank.

In a similar case, a man in Colorado found himself glued to a toilet seat at a Home Depot in 2003. That man sued the home improvement chain last year.

Do you squat on a public pot before looking ?
If an emergency occurs and you have to use a public pot, don't you use a seat cover?

No, but I've looked and not seen. Depends on the light. No, I don't use a seat cover (eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww). I don't have toilet seat paranoia.

Wonder if was at least able to wipe his azz first.
Ewe, I'm guessing not unless he was an edge rider. My guess would be that be had taken command of the throne and was fully encompassing the seat.

Why didn't he wipe the seat before sitting down? :twitch:
Why?? It's a fact that the toilet seat is the cleanest surface in the building.. Do you put a toilet seat cover on the table at Denny's before you eat!?? you probably should, it's probably ten times dirtier then the toilet seat, and you're eating off of it. Or put on a glove before opening the door to leave the restroom?

Huh??? I agree with the door thing, but when I waited tables we wiped them down with sanitizer after every customer. Then again, we are talking about Denny's.
