Maryland roads are freaking terrible.

I drove from St. Mary's to Annapolis, then over to Laurel and home yesterday, and the roads are falling apart.
Holes and the pavement falling apart no attempts at patching or fixing them.
Damaging suspension and beating hell out of the car on every road major road or otherwise.

Where the hell is the State Road Department ?

Lol, ever driven in Pennsylvania? Our roads are great compared to PA
Maybe not worse but, at least you don't have to pay 25 cents per mile to drive on the toll roads in MD. I say this because I was recently gifted an $80 total toll bill for driving 322 miles round trip on the PA Turnpike. You do the math...
Roads should be paved with gold in PA!

Try driving in the land of the pot hole and frost heave. Maryland road are paradise compared with any road in New England.
One of the mechanics where I work was telling us about the roads in Nova Scotia and their frost heave. No thank you. The worst part of my commute is Rt. 5 in Leonardtown and Rt. 4 just this side of the bridge. I'm spoiled.
