Mask Report

This funny exchange does an excellent job of indicating why signs requesting masks is a smart idea.

it can be a personal or invasive question to inquire about ones vaccination status, so store and other places where folks gather might as well have people use masks as a generic policy until herd immunity or variants are under control or at-risk employees are safer.

Well done, sir/ma’am.

ETA: it’s an open secret that every person in Walmart loves an*l, so there’s be no need to ask.

And everyone should be able to choose which stores they frequent. That's what I took this thread to be from the beginning. Then everyone gave their OWN opinion. It is a discussion forum.....

CVS - masks still required. Put mine on because I needed my meds and needed something else so didn't do the drive thru.
WalMart- no mask, but most people had one on.
Lowes - no mask, but most had one on.

Not only were the majority wearing a mask, but I noticed people went WAY out of their way to avoid anyone without a mask, giving them WIDE berth.
Works for me! I'm not wearing the mask unless there's a sign. Most places over here are not requiring one, and I'm gladly not wearing it. I felt positively wonderful in the shopping in the grocery store for my usual Sat. trip. Of course, doctors' offices & the hospital are requiring them, but that's to be expected. :yay:

I saw people who were wearing masks giving me the stink eye, or raising their eyebrows when they saw me without mine. DON'T CARE. Social distance me, please.

I went to Bj's the other night. Employees had masks on and a few customers. No one said anything to me. From there I went to Giant, same with customers and the employees. UNTIL I ran into a MALE Karen! He walked toward me with his hand covering his mask and bouncing it from his mask to the air, saying Did you forget something? I said no and kept going. I saw him again at the cash registers talking to the cashiers. They didn't say anything to me as I walked by, he turned to me and said "I hope you get it". I replied with " I hope you die" laughing with every word. He ran out the door like he was afraid I was going to shoot him!!
What a freak! :lmao:

Again, its a personal choice. I haven't seen any stores this week that REQUIRED a mask so, by choice, I haven't worn one. If I find a store that requires a mask I will post it here. And spend my money someplace else, also by personal choice.

I went to the pool store a couple of days ago and they required a mask. I put it on, got my supplies and removed it as soon as I hit the door. They are a small business, no problem for me. I've been dealing with them for years.
