May God Have Mercy

If you're suggesting that there are some people whose hearts are filled with hatred and actually wish ill on someone, well of course that happens more times per day than I can consider.

But, if you're suggesting that it is the Christian concept that ill be wished upon homosexuals, you couldn't be more wrong. Homosexual actions are considered a sin. So is theft, lust, gluttony, avarice.... things we've all done. Christians are not to judge the sinner (that's God's job). We shouldn't embrace the sin, but we should pray for the sinner's soul, and our own.

:yay:

I find it hypocritical that christians would want god to have mercy on a murderer but not a gay person.

Actually, I have prayed that God would have mercy on a gay person.

And then I asked Him to have mercy on me for being judgemental.

In the end God has the last word. It's up to God to have mercy on that persons soul.. If not they go to hell

I have no clue that just sounded good.

My friend use to tell me "May God have mercy on your soul". I guess she thought I needed it. If that is the case, there are AN AWFUL LOT OF PEOPLE who need it!!!
