Mostly residential I do believe. I usually go in on the 245 end though, so I'm not totally positive whats down the other way. Its been a long time since I took that route.

if it is fire related, the Maryland State Fire Marshal works along with the Bomb Squad (the Fire Marshal also has police powers)

Trust me. Not allot going on on the St. Mary's scanner either. If I did not hear the intial call for the officer to go to St. Mary's Airport to pick up the Bomb Dude and take him to McIntosh Rd. I would not have even paid much attention to this.
