I think we need a new category of small businesses called micro businesses.

The manager at Suntrust has ignored repeated emails from me now, for going on a week straight. What a coward.

I saw onthe Fox5DC banner last night that Ruth's Chris decided to give their $20M PPP loan back to the government.

I saw an article somewhere this morning saying the government is demanding the return of PPP loans that were received by any publicly traded companies.

I sent an email to Truist this morning, letting them know their California Suntrust branch sucks eggs. We'll see what kind of replay I get.

I would think the restaurant lobby will take a short term hit since they pushed the change that allowed the big chains to collect. Probably a lot of telephone calls on Capital Hill not being returned.

Some are having better luck dealing with localized banks... You should try applying outside of your own bank if it becomes available again.

I have not seen where any banks are processing PPP loans for other than existing customers. One thing is certain..we will be changing banks soon.

The only business I know of that received a PPP loan has their accounts at a small local bank. On the flip side though, with almost all of our business being from outside the country, I’m concerned how well a small community bank could handle international Letters of Credit, wire transfers etc.

It is available through other lenders. You don't have to use your bank.

Actually...Paypal is a possibility, believe it or not. Just learned that the other day. But otherwise, no..there is not a single bank down here in St. Mary's that I'm aware of that will process the PPP app for non-customers. If you know of one...please advise. Thanks.

Not sure about St. Mary's, but my accountant and my good friend who is a business accountant both recommended doing so, if I was to apply, since I bank with the vultures at Wells Fargo.
