Ok so far here are the two choices for the House of Delegates
Choice 1: An incumbent who voted to boost our taxes by ONE BILLION DOLLARS but said that the same amount of income from slots would bloat the budget, represents 100 years of one party rule in the state house, can't decide if he can support his traditional Catholic teachings on the abortion and stem cell issues and has a problem with communicating and staying in touch with his constituents.

Choice 2: A convicted child support dodger who wants to close the base in order to manage growth.

I ask you is there anyone out there who can be Choice 3 ???

If you work for the Government you can't run for office unless you quit your job.. not that I would run, but the ones that would be the best choice have JOBS, and families to support, and can't afford to quit their jobs to run for office.

Very true about the Fed govt. Did you know that the incumbent is also the Senior Aide to our congressman. Makes you wonder who is calling the shots and how he as a federal employee can be a delegate.

Hopefully there will be someone pop up soon.

The only one that has filed an intent to run is your number 2 candidate. But don't worry these two are from the same party so one is gone immediately. There are no candidates from any other parties yet, but I think they have until early July to get on the ballot.

Not close the base down. I am just going to make the Navy Base act like a respectful guest in our home - which it is not doing now. That really means like freeze the growth but the base is not going to be shut down by me.

As for a respectful guest, the base has probably been around here longer than you've been alive and is the only reason why this county actually exsists. And in the last 30 years that I've been around this county, I haven't seen the base, or anyone on it being disrespectful. Open your eyes moron.

By overcrowding the schools, by creating inflation, super inflated property prices, high rent costs, crammed full jail, water table overdrawn, the entire infrastructure overloaded and it is not for some military need but is orchestrated by our greed driven political leaders and I will put a stop to it.
