MD IS doing something....

Rocky Mountain High!!
But I'm not sure what. I'll prolly get in deep do-do for blabbing  but I know the troopers have been tasked with recording gas prices in their area and reporting them. They flew in some big wigs this week just prior to telling them to do that...so something's afoot in MD to help control the price gauging.

I did NOT just say that : I did NOT just say that : I did NOT just say that
Oh no...I'm gonna get in twouble.

On Wed. when everybody else in Charlotte Hall was charging $2.79 for regular, the B.P. was $2.99. Came home from work yesterday, and most places were up to $2.99, and the B.P. was DOWN to $2.89. There had to be a reason for them to LOWER their price. It's not like they woulda done it on their own. Then I noticed this morning that the Exxon is $3.29, while everybody else is still at $2.99. No excuse for that either. They were $2.76 at 5:15 last night.

 Why not say it? Say it even if it's BS....maybe it'll prompt someone in authority to keep people honest. There has to be an explanation of why the price can skyrocket while the station is still pumping the cheaper gas.

Gas Prices

The reason the Exxon is probably $3.29 is because they got a delivery of gas last night. I have a relative who runs a station and he received gas yesterday and paid $3.15 off the truck for it. Thats why the Sheetz/Wawa by Pax are $3.19 because they received gas yesterday too. All these stations under $2.99 have not received gas since probably Mon or Early Tue I would bet. The only good thing the futures price has come down late yesterday and today. So if nothing else happens we could be at a peak.

I understand raising the prices when they get deliveries and have to pay more for gas off the truck, but that doesn't explain how in ONE DAY the price rose 3 or 4 times. I know they did NOT get that many deliveries. It is price gouging pure and simple.

Seems like a lot of places probably raised the prices to get the extra profit so when the next load shows up they will have cash for it.

I was thinking some places were raising prices so that we WOULDN'T buy their gas, so that when the gas is rationed and everyone else is out of gas, they can raise em even higher.....

The reason why BP was up was because there was a delay on oil shipments from South America, they usually come through New Orleans, but yeah, that port was closed. So there was a delay on the ship getting up to Baltimore to unload the oil shipments. Hence the lowered price the next day.

The reason Exxon is so high is because Exxon is 75% Saudia Arabian oil, and they love to make money off us "stupid americans". Saudia Arabia has denounced american products, and have put a boycott against our products, return the favor. Don't get gas from Exxon/Mobil, Texaco, Chevron or Shell.

Sunoco, BP, WaWa and Sheetz get their oil from South America, Texas and Canada, keep the money at least in this hemisphere.
