Meat Grinder

I've been watching store prices too so that's why I thought you were gaming your own meat. The investment cost of a good grinder along with the work/mess involved plus ability to wrap/seal/store doesn't seem to add up for what you can pay per pound for already ground. Ground pork and chicken are readily available.
I’ve been fortunate with kitchen gadgets mostly. Got an inexpensive but reliable food slicer - probably use it monthly for everything like corned beef, pastrami, turkey, bread, ham and pork loins. Ditto the deep fryer, the air fryer and smoker.

Not so much the InstantPot. Just isn’t a thing for us.

But my wife recommends an attachment to our KichenAid. She’s always had a really nice one, and the meat grinder attachment gets great reviews.

Truth is, with a bit of scouring and cashing in on specials, I can get good ground meat for EASILY less than a buck fifty a pound. Plus, ground pork easily fits our typical meals.

Whoa Hoss, your wife recommends the attachment and you come on here asking us. Be careful if you see her picking up a roller-pin. I foresee visions of stars for you.

If you want to go the kitchenaid route I’ve got one that you can have.

Way to slow for any serious grinding.....If you want to make yourself a hamburger for lunch it will probably work

She recommended it two hours ago. She had no idea I was looking at them.
