The end of the road is on a curve and lots of trees and such right up until the end of the road so I am thinking by the time they register seeing the stop sign, they are still going 50ish and don't have time to fully stop.

There's also a "STOP AHEAD" sign well in advance of the "STOP" sign.

I was fairly certain there was. I travelled the road many times when I worked in Charlotte Hall.

I was on FDR Blvd between Great Mills and 3 Notch. I obeyed the Stop sign there near AMC.
Some SOB coming the other way did not even slow down for his sign, even though there were 2 county workers in the intersection.

I agree they aren’t paying attention. I’m saying by the time they realize it, their road ended and they are probably going full speed.
