:elaine: Food = nothing spectacular
Desert = to die for.

And not good at all if your stomach gets upset easily. Youll spend the night in the bathroom and not the bedroom. :moon:

:yum: It's a perfect "Girl's Night Out", my guys couldn't sit and "chat" that long! Try the Chocolate Martini (but don't bite the glass!)

I have been going to Melting Pots for years. Very good food and a great place for converstations, since you basically have to do something while you wait for some of the food to cook. Guess if you were in a dark corner you could...use your imagination thought... if you would rather. Haven't been to the Annapolis location, but the best thing about it is it is only 4 Blocks from the HARLEY DAVIDSON Dealer. Your date will love that!!!

I thought it was just me... whew!

Be careful with the deserts, I think they're "endless" and the "fitness" part of me says :nono: :yay:

I think the average time you spend at the table is around 2-3 hours since they're so detailed with the process, enjoy it though! :yay:

Yep. I just don't get the concept of the "dinner" portion.

here is some uncooked meat, a few sticks, and a stove. Cook it, season it, and eat it.

Sounds like at home. So I guess I am just paying $50 per person so I can have a dimmer switch?

Eat elsewhere. Eat desert there.

I've been to the one in Arlington a couple of times and it is yummy! The traditional swiss cheese fondue for the appetizer and the pure chocolate fondue for dessert are excellent! The main course isn't bad either depending on what you get. If you like martini's I suggest the Apple

We didn't like the dinner either. I liked the appetizer and dessert, but boiled meat is not my idea of eating out.

I think I have to agree. It was okay, but I'll not ever go back.

I have never been..sorry you did not enjoy it...bummer to go out and not be as happy as you were planning on.. :huggy:

I've looked on their site to check the menu because I've never understood the fondue craze. The only thing that sounded remotely appetizing was dessert. The other stuff sounds gross.

I really liked the shrimp, and the chicken was okay (I would have preferred just regular grilled chicken), but I didn't like the steak. I'm not huge on red meat anyways, and only like my steak grilled, so that was a bust. But, the dessert kicked butt.

I could go for some strawberries dripped in melted chocolate. :yum: But lately, I cannot stomach chicken. Pregnancy can be a weird thing.

I've been craving chocolate/caramel fondue for two days now. :ohwell:

When I was pregnant, and for months afterward, I couldn't even look at eggs.

Up until a month ago, I was eating scrambled eggs at least twice a week. I couldn't get enough of them. Now I don't really want them. I have yet to crave pickles and ice cream though. :lmao:
