I want to reload everything on my computer. I have all the cds that came with it like the operating system and stuf like that. I will backup everything I want to save. How do I get everything off of it, or should I just put in the cd to re-load it all.

If you have data on there you want to save, copy it off to an external Hard Drive -or- burn a CD/DVD with you precious pictures and such, then reload. :yay:

Yes you want to load the OS CD first. Then all your other cd's and don't forget to run windows update when you're done. You will also have to reinstall things like flash player and macromedia player, and acrobat reader. Good Luck! :howdy:

When defragging a 500GB hard drive, start waaaaaaaaaaaay early in the morning! This thing has been running 7 hrs! I thought something was wrong but the HP guy told me nope that's the norm, that's a huge hard drive! :faint:

that's what she said
