I was heading south on 4 pulling a trailer approaching landfill when someone decided to not use the merge lane. I believe I uttered the "c" word with other adjectives at a very high volume. It was close.
Yes. They pulled right out. I had someone on my right so I couldn't go around. What does that mean, they decided to not use the merge lane? They just cut you off?
I meant my left.Yes. They pulled right out. I had someone on my right so I couldn't go around.
Unfortunately, this is all 100% true. I taught my kids to drive defensively and always assume the worst in drivers. Basically a modified Murphy's Law, but for driving. If you've driven here long enough, you should know that happens alot. I've worked in Lex Park for 11 yrs and traveling up or down 5/235, it happens regularly. Some treat a "yield" as a stop sign, some don't..some pull directly into the left lane and do 35 waiting to make a ubie in the next crossover. Just expect the worst when seeing someone about to try to get onto 5/235 and act accordlingly.
Ouch.
Do the letters FO mean anything to you?I don't know how long you have lived here but there are no traffic laws, they're merely suggestions.
