you share a pipe with others and i am not down with that
chess said:This should be interesting... plenty of metrocast haters... a guy i went to highschool with works for them, he said they will never get bought out... not that he likes working for them, but the perks and pay are pretty decent
CableChick said:Not been bought out? They've had 3 owners in the past 8 years.
Mousebaby said:I personally LOVE my DSL! I have had it for 5 or 6 yr.s and have only had problems twice!!! My speed is plenty fast enough I have no problems downloading, uploading, or surfing. IMO DSL is a lot more reliable. I never have speed issues either. Goes fast all day long no problems! Hope this helps.

DSL is cheaper but slower..
You can get a package deal through Verizon, unlimited long distance on your home phone, all the bells and whistles on your phone AND DSL for about $90... but you still need TV
Metrocast you can do digital cable, one or two premium channels, and Cable Internet for about $100, phone you can probably do without if you have a cell phone OR you can also purchase a internet phone service
I think the cost is almost a wash, so based on performance Cable is the way to go
Wish we could even get a choice of DSL or Cable! You all don't know how lucky you are with the choice...
