My either...

They're illegal gun smugglers, among other criminal activities. So anyone dumb enough to think we can eliminate guns in this country by making their sale or possession illegal is a pretty big dope indeed. Unless they think that doesn't really happen and they made it up for TV.

Execute them! I'm all for it, but not everyone spends their time in front of a TV. I just don't get references to the boobtube. I'm sorry if I'm the only one, but that's when I usually leave the thread. It's not worth my time to look these things up.

Obviously everyone didn't see it but I have to believe many on the Left watched because it was a very popular show and right up their pop cultural alley.

Being neither here nor there, any rational person would have to understand that you can't get rid of guns by banning them. Criminals will get them anyway, and I'll bet money right here and now that those Mexicans transporting the ammo weren't legal resellers.

There is so much more to this story. First why did it take almost a month for this to show up in the media? (If they raid me and find my "meager stockpile of mostly .22 and .40S&W it will show up the next day!) Second, who goes from Mexico to Colorado then to SLC to look at cars and just happens to make a side trip to an ammo store to buy 180K rounds? Third, how many ammo stores have that much stock on hand? Fourth, .308 and 7.62 aren't just plinking rounds. Fifth, where are the perps? No mention of being held or released. This really stinks of cartel type $hit. I wonder if Van Hollen is going to visit them wherever they are.

What's illegal about it? You can easily come up with hundreds of scenarios that make it look bad, but as far as I know having a lot of ammo isn't illegal. Same as buying ridiculous amounts of Tannerite (also known as a binary explosive) isn't illegal.

We aren't talking .22 LR here.

When it was white Americans with that kind of ammo Janet Reno sent in federal agents to kill them and burn their complex down.

The constitution applies to visa holders also, so they should have a 2nd amendment right here.
Moving the goal post, huh? You said "illegal" and Federal law (law of the land) says it is illegal. Hell, citizens don't enjoy 2nd amendment rights as they have been infringed on several occasions.
