One night, my ex-boyfriend's family took his father out for his birthday and brought a cake for them to bring out to him after the meal. They delivered it to another table and those people ate it. :ohwell:

A birthday which will never be forgotten. :yay: :lmao:

I like the one in Huntingtown very much. Real good food, very reasonable price, and good service. :yay:
We tend to go there early, because it gets crowded later. Another good sign.

I have been to the waldorf one many times and always had good service but then again I speak the language so maybe it makes a diiference as much as I hate to admit that.

look at the logo. It says La Tonalteca, but the domain name is different. Maybe it's just different names like Jimmy Buffet restaurants.

I think the La Tolteca in La Plata and Waldorf is locally owned. Actually, there might be one in Fairfax.

Thats not the same La Tolteca as the one in LaPlata, Waldorf and Prince Frederick. They dont have a website either, but their food is :yum:

I would agree, but have they cleaned the place up? The last time I was in there, it was dirty, really dirty. If the bathrooms and dining area are that bad, how much worse can the kitchen be?

UCK!!!! Went there once and it was sooo dusty and dirty we left. The booth we sat in had decorations around it that were gray with filth and grease. I lasted about 5 minutes before disgust made me overrule hubby and demand we leave.

The Mexico is VERY kid friendly and the food is ok too. We never had to wait to be seated there (important with toddlers) and the service was always prompt. It's not gourmet but I'm not a real big fan of mexican food anyway so for me it was worth it for the speed and family friendliness.

I am shocked...I love Loredo's! We get the BEST service there! The food is wonderful and yes, it is darker than most restaurants, but it is an original Charles County place to go...not many (if any) places can say THAT!

I suggest you check it out again, it isn't under new ownership but the management has changed it seems. I is not a "quick dine". But it well worth the wait, if any.

By the way...the margaritas are THE BEST in Charles County!!!:buddies:
