No I don't think he is being overly political, he's scared because he's sick and there isn't a cure. He's grasping at any straw he can find for someone to make him well. If, in his mind, someone is standing in the way of curing him, he's going to everything in his power to remove them. I'm sure most people in his situation would do likewise.

...and is it allowable for him to grasp at a straw that misrepresents and negates the personal views and political history of an honorable candidate?

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, all I'm saying is that desperate people will do just about anything.

And MJF frankly admits that he doesn't know what he's talking about because he hasn't even read the text of the bill he's stumping against.

Are you serious?

Im On 1.
my thing is if he was so concerned about this illness of his and finding a cure and saving people....y wait till election time to start coming out in ads??

why not do it before???

he clearly got paid to do these ads too...and him shaking in the ads seemed so fake even though i know he has the disease....

Are you purposely avoiding the fact that the person (at least in Maryland) he endorsed (Cardin) voted AGAINST what he believes (Stem Cell research) will help acquire a cure?
The only ad that I'd seen MJF do was for a candidate in Missouri. I don't know either candidates stand on the issue.

He's done one for Cardin as well.

In all fairness, he has been making ads for finding a cure since the beginning.

Back when Spin City was on, in every single episode there was an advertisment featuring a mute Michael J. Fox and one of the characters from the show.

I think they still do this in reruns.

I think the only thing he waited for elections to do was to start endorsing candidates... In which case he should be more knowledgable about the actual issues, and the actual stances of the candidates before hanging his jittery mug in front of a camera.

Because doing that reeks of personal desperation rather than compassion.

I've seen worse real shaking.
However, IMO, whether he's faking it or not is beside the point.

It's not like every single goddam political advertisement in the history of the universe hasn't stretched the truth.

What a crock!!!!!! Michael J. Fox is the one who painted Talent as wanting to criminalize the only possible means of finding a cure for Parskinsons! yet he has no clue because he has no idea what is in the Bill itslef
But WE'RE the bad ones for casting doubt on his ridiculous performance.
