My girlfriend recommended the L'Oreal Micro kit - comes with the scrubby stuff and an after-cream.

WOW!!!

My face felt SOOOOOO good afterward! I have pores the size of dinner plates and this visibly reduced them after one treatment.

So now I have my twice a week micro treatment and my happy little Philosophy goodies - I should look like Jennifer Aniston in no time! :yay:

Nanny tried the Neutrogena one and liked it - I think that comes with a scrubby tool that does the work for you.

Nanny? Is that right?

I had it done by an esthetician a week ago. My sister manages the office for an ENT and they have the esthetician as part of their practice. I got all the products and the treatment for a steal! :yay:

Catt, how long did it take to have it done?
Less than an hour. She did a peel of some sort first. Then did the microdermabraision with the little sandblaster machine. In between she put really nice moisturizers on my face. It was nice to have somebody do it for me. She had nice music playing and one of those nice rock waterfall thingys running in the background. I got a really nice vitamin C moisturizer..normal price is $60 for the tube (and it ain't big). I got the whole deal and cleanser too for $55.

But wait, there's more...
I don't know what brand mine is, but I got it at Sally's and I love it. I only use it twice a week though ... cuz I'm still young and bootiful and all. :diva:

I did notice, though, that the site vrai recommended a while back -- drugstore.com -- carries the scrubby stuff for when ya run out. I need to order me some real soon cuz the kit only comes with a small jar of it.

Alright Catt, you're going to have to try out the Loreal stuff and let us know if it even comes close to what they do in the pro shops.

Why? Those kits are not really microderabrasion, just a glorified scrub, right? I get the procedure for next to nothing and I can relax and enjoy the nice music, etc.

And since her kids are grown, getting out of the house to get it done isn't a massive planning effort.
