And what misleading slant would that be? That U.S. soldiers who died for Iraqi freedom didn't need to die to get rid of a madman who wasn't a threat to our national security.

Pray tell, what slant do you speak of?

Funny how Republicans try and belittle the unnecessary, and totally preventable death of nearly four thousand soldiers with accidental deaths that nobody has control over. Republicans really have no regard for soldiers who fight for our freedom.

And they also seem to overlook that the number of service personnel has dropped from 2177845 in 1986 to 1378014 in 2006.

Republicans never were very good at math and science.

Here's how they think: Hey! we lost more guys to accidents when the numbers of service members were nearly twice as high, so who cares if slightly fewer get killed in an optional war of choice?
