On another note, I work with a younger engineer, early 30s. When he get criticized too much he goes off and cries.

Thank goodness ours don't!
I will qualify that with the fact that people do treat us pretty badly, and there is a high level of stress. it's just the line of work. I have had former marines and engineers from other areas of the base come work for us that couldn't get out fast enough.

We have a good group of people, so it isn't terribly high stress.
