Easily, only reason we went to Denny's was didn't get out of mass until 8........... most everything closes early here. Only wanted a quick dinner and she hates fast food..

Also funny is that many black people don't tip at all. And if you don't tip a black server, even for a valid reason, it's racist. Go figure.

I understand, I was pointing out prices are up everywhere ..

McD's used to be a couple of combo meals was 5 bucks each .. going to Denny's was $ 30 - 35 bucks

Used to be going to denny's (for breakfast) was $10 for two people. Two grand slams, two coffees, side of hash browns.

I remember McDonald's hamburger, small fries, and a carton of milk being around a buck. I think my minimum wage job at Mattingly's IGA was $3 something per hour.

I had a double cheeseburger, sweet tea, fries w/brown gravy. She had eggs, sausage, potatoes and water. Server was both great and cute so she got the 22%, right at 50 bucks.

15 cent burger at McDonalds, Henry;s, Lil Tavern et al and the Ameche's Powerhouse (forerunner of Gino's) was maybe 39 cents. $129 a month when I joined the navy.
