Now could a person possibly suffer anymore then what they already have for killing their own child, I doubt it, but does that make them immune to prosecution, no.

Personally, I think it should be prosecuted and the father receive at a minimum a suspended sentence. Failure to prosecute it could open up all sorts of crazies killing their kids in "hunting accidents". And with prosecution this idiot could be prevented from ever legally possessing a firearm again which is something that needs to be done to him.

...wrong with that? It's bad enough there isn't an explicit exception for parents to 'postpartum' Junior. There's plenty of the little bastards running around who should have had, if not hunting accidents, then at least numerous swift kicks in the azz accidents.

Also, maybe we don't want someone like this guy having kids anyway? Self Darwinism?
