I went out about 7 am to plant vinca in my front flower bed. Just in time for the rain to water them for me.
Yes, the sugar attracts them, then the baking soda goes back to the nest to kill the rest. Safe for my little pup too.Boric acid too. They like it and bring it back to the nest.![]()
Yeah, same here. Between cleaning and laundry I had to bump the air conditioner down to 68 cool things off.Ugh. Doing a few things around the house, but it's way too humid in here, had to turn on here a/c to dry down a bit.
Feels like I’m in a different world in California, it’s rained every weekend here. This was much needed but still not enough- only .11” at the farm this morning. I planted field corn last week so this will get it out of the ground. Would like to plant soybeans this week but may need more rain first.
Installing a window inverter a/c in the family room where I am most of the time. Plan is to be able to run the window unit and cut way back on the whole house. Window unit draws far less power and I should be able to run it off the backup power.Yeah, same here. Between cleaning and laundry I had to bump the air conditioner down to 68 cool things off.
Well California is a different world.....Feels like I’m in a different world in California, it’s rained every weekend here.
I'm so glad to have them to knock down the humidity.Yeah, same here. Between cleaning and laundry I had to bump the air conditioner down to 68 cool things off.
My area had .51" this morning. Gurps said it poured by him. Tracked a bit north.
