Looking at the picture above, looks like he crapped himself!
What does it say about these people that even after they start having health issues the lure of power and graft keeps them in politics? They have no other pleasures or hobbies than ****ing up our lives. Most people look forward to retirement but not these shitbags. They have nothing else. It's like selling your soul to Satan.

Cognizant test, minimum IQ and term limits. No Turtle, Dementia Joe, Finklestein, Fetterman, bar tramp from NY, Hank Johnson and a host of others.
My Mom was like that - for years. It was what eventually killed them both - my Dad, while she was driving and had one of those - and her, years later. We had GREAT difficulty explaining to her how dangerous she was DRIVING - when she could easily plow into someone else.
They diagnosed it as a form of epilepsy - to her, it was as though she had been put on pause - she had NO recollection of anything in that time she was "out" and would often just continue talking as though nothing had happened.

this was said 20 yrs ago, do away with Congressional Seniority and you remove the incentive to make a career out of congress
Maybe get a nationwide referendum in the next presidential ballot to set congressional term limits. IDK the procedure, but maybe someone better versed in such things will chime in.

Exactly, the only people that want a career in congress are exactly the people you DONT want to have a career there. The Founders, as far as I know, never intended for there to be a permanent political class. Service, then go.
Not sure how you get there. Need to happen on local and state levels first, I think.
Indeed, a person so motivated to ' serve ' his fellow citizens for a few yrs, then going back to their per-congressional jobs
We need people who actually have a stake in the way this country is run. This life long service has done anything but serve We The People. They're just in there to enrich themselves and their families *coughcoughbidencoughcough*. They couldn't care less how their constituents live and die.
