One piece of advice. If you pay someone to change your oil, pop the hood and check the dipstick before you drive away.

Chances are everything is good, but there's always the possibility:

There's also the possibility that they overfilled it. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I've read that it can cause serious damages if way too much was put in. I've had the Honda overfilled by 1/2 quart last 2 times and when I had the F150 Xmission fluid changed, they overfilled by at least a quart. I'm sure someone else more knowledgeable can weigh in on this.

These guys are changing oil all day, 7 days a week. They should know exactly how much oil a particular engine requires.

Too much oil can sometimes overpressurize and blow out seals but that's pretty rare. Most oil pumps are positive displacement and will grenade if over pressurized so they include a pressure relief valve. It's more of a problem in transmissions where too much fluid can cause foaming and the transmission won't shift correctly.

They know how much each car needs and have a air pump that allows them to put in the exact amount (as long as they do it correctly).

But good advise either way. A local oil change place forgot to put a drain plug in once. Ended up buying a customer a new engine IIRC.

Yes. Happens all the time. Also make sure they remembered to put the oil cap back on the engine.

Cabin filter on my Jeep is behind the glove box. Very easy to change.
Easy to change, the time is taken up getting the crap out of the glove box, dropping it down and out of the way, and then getting it back in past the safety stops. One of the cars had a slide or something, it was easily dislodged, getting it back on was not so easy.
Just saying that while not difficult, it may be more time consuming for them to change it - time = $$
