There's also the possibility that they overfilled it. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I've read that it can cause serious damages if way too much was put in. I've had the Honda overfilled by 1/2 quart last 2 times and when I had the F150 Xmission fluid changed, they overfilled by at least a quart. I'm sure someone else more knowledgeable can weigh in on this.

Easy to change, the time is taken up getting the crap out of the glove box, dropping it down and out of the way, and then getting it back in past the safety stops. One of the cars had a slide or something, it was easily dislodged, getting it back on was not so easy.Cabin filter on my Jeep is behind the glove box. Very easy to change.
