True, but when you go to sell the house, I believe you have to legally disclose that it is modular and/or it is in the county records as modular...

Hmmm considering ive seen one of those old tin can trailors on a crappy piece of land in st marys listed over 100k im not sure thats an issue here.

Not in Howard, Montgomery or Calvert county and it was never an issue with my in-laws very nice home in Mechanicsville. The only reference to a modular seller in the State of Maryland records would be if they were a lein holder. It's no different than if the lumber in your home came from 84 Lumber or Lowes. Who's to know unless you take the house apart?
