Brown left Molly Hatchet due to suffering from diabetes. He had suffered a stroke in 1998. He died at his home in Davie, Florida, of complications from pneumonia. He was 53.

I knew this guy who knew this other guy who had a sister who had a friend who's cousin used to know this guy who had a brother whose mother used to hang out with Prince in the '80's, when he was on tour. Got in the Purple Rain movie, too! Only for a second though. She was in the backround and unfocused...but she was in it! All proud about it and everything....

It's actually Blackfoot that is playing with Molly Hatchett at Boatman's. One of my all time favorite songs is their "Train, Train." Too bad I'm already busy that day.
