Molly is home, was out of the trap within 1/2 minute after I got the hatch up and locked. Very alert. Anita is sitting with her.
She accepted pets, rubbed against me as I sat on the floor and did headbonks. Has been exploring her new world. Buff was at the screen and hissed. She did not react.
Vet thinks she is a little over 6 years. She weighs 8.6#. She was unspayed.
She had no chip, but does now.

Molly had a very good 1st night at Home. She is lively and very loving.
After a couple hours on the floor, I went back to the people bed.
Got a couple hours of more comfortable sleep, then went back to the other bedroom.
Molly was asleep on the headboard over my wife's head.

And I thought I was good with cats.

I'm not worthy.

So, how if Miss Molly doing with her new family?

I discovered last weekend that I have three kittens living under my house. I've seen the mother around, but she heads off somewhere else (likely her real home) when I'm around the area. And yes, I've started putting kitten food out for them. Hopefully they'll warm up to me after a while.

4 weeks as of last evening.
The others are getting used to her being here.
The door to the intro room has not been closed in 2 days.
There is still some grumbling, but no physical confrontations beyond a bit of chasing.

I think you are the cat whisperer. I know you'll take good care of them all.

All the blessings to you and your wife......😻

I did not think it had been so long since I last visited these Forums.
Friday will make 10 weeks since Molly joined the family.
She had to be confined for a couple weeks, sprained her left elbow.
Gabapentin ear cream twice a day did the trick.

Cooper goes to the vet for new blood work, hopefully the thyroid medicine is doing its job.

Phoenix and Buff are doing good.

1st off, the thyroid medicine IS working for Cooper. He is now at the high end of the normal range.

Molly is definitely starting to fit in. Past 2 weeks, she's been coming to bed.
