My husband decided to quit smoking because his two best friends decided to quit smoking (the fact that I'm a quitter had no effect on him :ohwell:) so today is his first day on the patch. He's been smoking for 20 years and this is the first time he's ever tried to quit. I'm skeert. :bawl:

Well C and I had a wonderful morning; about 1:50 am I woke up to a bang and crash then the dogs went crazy. So C and I got up and looked out the back sliding glass door. Big azz tree limb had fallen on the deck. Just 4 weeks ago a tree limb from the same tree fell on the deck. So went back to sleep woke up for work and before I left the sun was up and looked it was the whole top of the tree that fell on the deck. I told C my next house will not have a tree in the yard.

I smoked for 37 years, then quit using the patch and Wellbutrin. If he follows the directions to the letter and still has problems, have him get a scrip for the Wellbutrin. More power to 'im! And you're a great wife, having quit and sticking with him. The smell alone would make it difficult to hang in there. Good for you! :huggy:

Termites?

What kind of tree is/was it?

We love our trees (we have many and have planted quite a few of them ourselves), but they do pose a hazard if they're unhealthy or if a hurricane/tornado/wind sheer/ice storm hits.

Weekend In Review!

Because I  my forum buddies

I shall pass on three uncovered finds for cheap entertainment! :lmao:

At a yard sale on Saturday, :gossip: and I found an extra large carnival stuffed Husky that I bought for a $1. Brought it home to the girls (the Malamutes) and they went so much more than apesh1t that I actually could not breathe. Barking, woo-wooing, carrying on... :killingme Said $1 entertainment is stored in a closet for future cheap thrills.

At yet another yard sale, his and her grandparent-style one-speed bicycles were purchased for $10 a piece. Wire, front loading detachable baskets were added and a "road trip" to Wildewood was made on Sunday :killingme (again - I could NOT BREATHE) It was a sight to be seen!! :roflmao: No hand breaks, nada... Good ol' fashioned street cruisers..

At Michael's, while getting craft supplies, I picked up some bubbles and had further fun with the girls and thought I was going to blow again watching them try to catch them or sniff them and such...

Ahh... ain't life grand! :huggy:

I have no clue what kind of tree it was? It is a big one, the limb had green leaves but the top was as brown as it could be. I have all trees around the house and nothing else. I am scared that one will fall on the house when I am not home and hurt my dogs.
