Money for Junk cars.

Anyone know of anyone that gives money for junk cars? Mines is able to be repaired unless i have a new motor and for the age of the car it aint wroth it. Ive seen some for 100 and 250 but i would like to to most i could for the car. Thanks

I've never seen any over $250. Google junk yards and call to ask them what they'd offer. Keep in mind that they have to come pick up and haul the junk car too.

Depending on the car, I'd say put a junkyard motor in it. Getting ready to do that to someone's car right now.

That being said, I have the garage, and tools to pull off the motor swap. not every else does, and it's easier to just get rid of it.

Depending on the car, and condition, I MAY be interested.

Seems to me a regular donation was tough to get $ back on nowadays, but this might be an option.

cuz its locked up already had a man come look. it needs windows motor a windsheild ac and heat fixed and this is the 2nd motor its had. time to give it up. I already got a another car.

I have the tools to pull of a motor swap as well. And i already have this is the 2nd motor i just got it towed outta here im done messing with this thing it bend rims cracked windshield. D.O.N.E! and he paid me enough to make a payment and half on the new one!

Sounds like you would be better off donating it to someplace like The Center For Life Enrichment.
You can write it off. :shrug:

I went through this not too long ago. Sold my '97 for $300; running; everything worked. High miles though.....

its was a 97 pontiac grand am it had been sitting for year. I held on to it becaues it was my very first car. and it was free. and it was blue!

Find the place that will buy the car for Junk and then see how much to get it towed there versus How much they will pay you for the car. Or call the place and see like if they will come and get it. I here if you can get up to 300.00 for a complete car. Or do that 4000.00 trade thing @ Leonardtown ford. maybe list here for free has a parts car and see who bites on the ad.

That $4000 trade thing is a crock of crap. That price is jacked way up before they give you the supposed $4000. I'd never buy a car in St. Mary's. You'll pay way more than what it's worth.
