I just signed up for both so I haven't received them yet, but I see better reviews than Birchbox. I haven't been impressed with Birchbox lately and I'm going to cancel my subscription.

I still like my Birchbox and most of the time they send me stuff I actually use, but I'll check out Ipsy and Beauty Army, too. I do love samples and trying new products!

Are these boxes full of samples worth it? I have no experience with any of them so I'm guessing it's just a box of samples for you to try what you like without the hassle of buying and returning items.

I have a few friends that get BirchBox and love it. From what I've seen, the samples are usually decent size. Some are much bigger than trial size. I have one friend that gets a few different types of boxes and gives me her leftovers. I'd love to be able to splurge on one, but it's just not going to happen.

I received my year member gift from BirchBox. :lol:

I used to love them, but now I don't and I plan on cancelling. I meant to last month but forgot. My samples have shrunk and the things I get aren't very exciting anymore. I used to truly get "new" quality products, now I get stuff/junk. Oh look there is a sandwich bag and a cookie. WTF?

Do you still like the doggie one? I'm looking into that for my grandparents as a gift.

I LOVE BarkBox. I just renewed my (I mean their) subscription.

Of course, by now the dogs have figured out that a brown box might mean something for them, so they get real annoying anytime a package comes in. :lol:

I get one BarkBox a month and split it between two dogs and it's perfect. I average at least one toy and at least one full sized bag of treats each month along with other fabulous doggie things. They figure BarkBox on size of the dog -small / medium / large and from what I've seen on FB - everybody gets the perfect sized toys and treats. https://www.facebook.com/getbarkbox?ref=ts&fref=ts Plus sometimes they send coupons from other dog related businesses and that's how we found DogTV!
