Recently received my first Ipsy package and loved all the products that it included. MUCH better than Birchbox, IMO, and the samples were pretty decent in size. I got a full size 'Juice Beauty' lip gloss in a GREAT neutral color. I also got a cute little makeup bag, not the cheap plastic baggie that Birchbox handed out a few months back. Also w/my package this month was huge samples of Deva-Curl shampoo, conditioner and curl gel. Love this stuff!!
If you're thinking about joining Ipsy, do it!!!

I've been following BB on FB for a few weeks and there are a lot of unhappy people and many are canceling their subscriptions and switching to Ipsy.

When I cancelled BB I wrote them a big long thing about why and their sample size decreasing as well as the selection choices being cope outs and never heard a response back from them. :shrug:

I do see that they follow-up w/a lot of people, but I'm sure some questions/comments get missed.
I just looked at my "beauty profile" and I don't have fragrances selected, but for a while that was the only thing I would get. Sometimes two perfume samples in one box, and they were the small little tube samples. I just switched some things around so hopefully I have better luck next month. I'll probably keep my subscription (was going to cancel) because it's really only $10 and girl likes some of the samples so we pick and choose. Now we have 2 boxes to dig through each month!!

Sounds like your 1st month is what I got also the other day as my 1st month. If so, what the heck is that little beige circle in plastic? If you got that? The lip stuff I wasn't sure WHAT it was as the writing on it is so TINY - so took a stab in the dark that it was meant for my lips and WOW it's great! I just hope that stuff doesn't cost $38 to buy it <G>.

Ipsy sent me a white-ish looking nail polish. Looks like I'll be giving away polish if they send it every month. I use polish, but only a small range of colors. I will go check out BB.

That was going to be my guess given how small it was - now that was no where near a full size sample that's for sure. The other items were good sized. For the money, I was happy considering part of the expense we are paying for is shipping.

The round beige stuff is concealer. I haven't used it yet so I can't give a review. I LOVE the lip gloss.
