This is always in the back of your mind when they're driving. I've been bugging her, 17 year old, the last of four, now that she's been driving and driving well for nearly a year to re-asses her 'take it for granted' level and to refocus on the risks and dangers. And then, last night...

She's fine. Beat up, but fine. Had on her seat belt. Airbags went off. The firemen were quite impressed.

It's a common sight where my sister lives in Vermont. Livestock escapes and walks down the road

So, as far as kid accidents go:

1. #3 - ran over a cow
2. #1 - almost got t-boned by a moving truck; lost the rear of her car
3. The Boy - fell asleep at the wheel; ran into parked car
4. #2 - minor fender benders

So far only #2 hasn't given me a heart attack with her driving escapades. She gave me a heart attack through other venues.
