Moo-ving experience...

I've never seen a cow in the middle of the road, so it wouldn't occur to me.

 It happens quite a bit down by us, maybe twice a year. Last year a person came around the corner on an early, foggy morning and hit two (yes, 2) Black Angus cattle in the road. Killed both of them. I got a call @ 7:30 in the morning from the owners of the cattle asking if I needed ground beef. :lmao:

So, as far as kid accidents go:

1. #3 - ran over a cow
2. #1 - almost got t-boned by a moving truck; lost the rear of her car
3. The Boy - fell asleep at the wheel; ran into parked car
4. #2 - minor fender benders

So far only #2 hasn't given me a heart attack with her driving escapades. She gave me a heart attack through other venues. :jameo:

Sorry, found a bit of humor between "cow" and "t-bone"

I am glad kiddo' is OK.

I got a phone call a few months back from my 22yr old daughter ( while I was sick with fever in bed ) one afternoon. "Mom, I am with ( older sister ) we have been in a car accident" Now my older daughter was pregnant with my grandson at the time...Talk about heart attack......we got to the accident site just in time to watch the rescue vechicle pull away...WITH MY DAUGHTER!!!! Turned out she and baby were OK!!!
But I will never forget that frightening feeling of worry....God sent his angles to protect my daughters and unborn Grandson that day, the car was trashed, but they were safe!!!

Holy...

This is always in the back of your mind when they're driving. I've been bugging her, 17 year old, the last of four, now that she's been driving and driving well for nearly a year to re-asses her 'take it for granted' level and to refocus on the risks and dangers. And then, last night...

She's fine. Beat up, but fine. Had on her seat belt. Airbags went off. The firemen were quite impressed.

cow! :yikes: Glad she's okay. :huggy:

Glad she is in 1 piece, poor girl, poor you too but I know how she feels. :huggy: I had 3 minor accidents from age 18 to 20. Might want to start thinking about just for men hair dye to cover the new grays.

...nah. Best we could tell, it was an agnostic.

In any event, we went to Outback last night and it just made her happy even though I made jokes the whole time I was eating my filet. "Darn, this is good! Really fresh, too! Hey, I think I just bit into some glass..." It was neat watching her slowly relax, the smile return and start to let it go.

Then we went to Uno's to get here favorite dessert! Two of them! THEN when we got home some of her pals were over with more dessert, spent the night.

All better now!

How much are you paying her?

...to be dead? Nothing. 'Pumpin' daisies' is an old time expression of demise.
It is a take off on 'pushing up daisies' and had no relevance whatsoever with the popularity of 'Daisy' as a cow name. Pure coincidence.
