What wrong with it. it might be easier to call the manufacturere and tell them the store is not upholding there warranty.

I went to the one in arrundel mills when i went to medieval times and asked a guy how much it cost to install an xm radio. Keep in mind i installed it that morning in about a half hour, including putting an aux power source in the glove box so you can see any wires. He told me 65, the unit cost 49.99 with a 20 rebate. I told him it has 2 wires and all you have to do is slide it up under the headliner, and that it took me 30min. His only response was that what if something goes wrong what if it catches on fire. I started laughing, his manager came over and asked if i had a problem, needless to say the manager wasnt very happy. Since i told the manager yo f**k off, and thats a rediculous price to put 2 wires in, and suction cup something to a windshield. A couple customers caught wind of what i said and asked the manager if thats all they did when they put it in.

It was installed in September and in November it fell out of the ceiling when I hit a bump. Well they put it back in and they pinched a wire when they did and now it has no power at all. They need to fix it and soon! I hate to deal with those stupid people. :cussing:

NOT Politically Correct!!
Sounds like Best Buy is adapting practices like Crazy Eddies electronic stores did up in NY just before the feds shut them down. They were huge. LOL, the CEO tried to flee the country to Isreal...

It is a Mountaineer. I have to get a new DVD Player first then I can get someone else to install it.

Best Buy had a scam going a few years ago where they would give people a free month of MSN internet service at checkout if you used a credit card, without bothering to tell the customer about it. They would just scan the card and put it in your bag. Then a month later, when the free month ran out, you would get a nice suprise charge to your credit card.
