I have noticed that the prices at Ace in Leonardtown appear to have certainly gone up since the new owner took over..

Kind of unrelated, but I just typed "hardware stores near 20653" into Google maps and I got basically every single store in the county listed on the map including the Dollar General in Ridge but no Ridge Hardware. You may need to look into that TPD.

I don't know about prices, but my wife was telling me they aren't just hardware anymore. Lot's of dollar store junk now.
