Well someone has to pay for the rest of the state. I mean, seriously, Baltimore, PG County, and all those places like that.... the cops aren't generating any revenue. They're too busy catching people committing violent and dangerous crimes and stuff, and that leaves almost no time to sit on the side of the road and bust people trying to get to their kid's violin recitals or make it to work on time. The law enforcement in those places is a veritable bottomless money pit. :boo:

I, for one, am glad to see that with the cops down here are taking up the slack and nailing the people trying to get to the grocery store, or make it to their dentist appointments, and generating some revenue for the state (so it can be spent in Baltimore and Annapolis.... y'know the important places) rather than costing money.

:yay: Kudos.

Ha haha HA ha!

I don't speed, so this enforcement doesn't pertain to me and will affect me in NO way.

Have fun sitting on the side of the road getting your ticket, smoke Nazis! I'll flick a ciggie butt at you on my way past!

Wow! What a concept. Don't break the law. It amazes me to see people complaining about getting tickets as if it's the cop's fault.

Could it be? The Vraiblonde herself sending the RED karma whenever I complain about obnoxious people throwing butts from their car???? And advocating and promoting breaking the law? No, couldn't be!

AT least when I speed, I've made it well worth their while to pull me over. I WISH I had only been going 6mph over.

I gotta agree to an earlier post that a considerable number of those 10mph and under tickets were knock downs form higher offenses. that has happened to me on mulitiple occasions over the years, for which I'm very grateful and definitely undeserving. But I'll take it.

I wonder how the article will help the attitude and or work ethic of the local po-po now. I foresee the number of folks being ticketed for 10mph+ tickets rising dramatically.:coffee:

Pookieboo!!!
People shouldn't speed if they are going to complain about getting a ticket. 1mph the speed limit is still going over the speed limit.

......
I got a ticket last year in St Mary's Co by MSP for going 6 miles over the limit. Speed trap over Thanksgiving weekend. This year when MSP called for their yearly $250.00 donation I've given for the last 10 years I told them NO and to remove my name from their mailing list.
Going 65 in a 50. First ticket in 30 years and the State Police won't let you off with a warning. Approx. $150 later they call for their yearly donation. NO, I've already donated.
